As you may or may not know, Zaphod Zombie -- the story of a zombie named Zaphod, natch -- is free as in beer. In the past week, it's racked up over 400 downloads on Amazon alone. That's pretty cool. For a good while, it's been happily playing in the top 50 of the Humor category of the Kindle Library. That's even better.

There's been a handful of great reviews (which I generally aggregate on the product page here on this site) but there's also been a notable review on Barnes & Noble (where the book is ALSO free -- it's free everywhere. Cause that's how I roll).

"I am a 16 year old girl, and I found this story hilarious. It is funny, a little crude, and somewhat dark. I love Zaphod's character. He is a cyncial zombie, and reading the book from his point of view makes it hilarious. This book really seems to poke fun at today's society--from the teens of today to the way the world works--and I found it very enjoyable. There is some talk of sex/porn and other topics along those lines, but other than that I thought it was a great book. I would love to read more from this author!"

This is a great review. And if you've read the book and HAVEN'T left a review, I think you should write something similar. Or completely different. Or whatever. Just leave a review. Preferably on Amazon. And if you won't do it for me -- the author who poured his heart and soul into a work of creative fiction -- do it for zombie awareness.Nah, I'm just kidding. Do it for me. Please?

Download "Zaphod Zombie: Living Impaired Among the Unimpaired Living" for the LOW LOW price of free and leave a review -- all right here.

Happy for your success JK. I say this a lot... but yea, sorry AGAIN for not having done my bit. I think I saw your post on FB that your book was going to be free for 1 or 2 days more, but at the time I had this stupid PhD interview the next day. I would have reviewed it (in a sane, "professional" way of course) had I just gone on the internet sooner. Damn my stupid, erratic spurts on the internet. I guess you could say that I really do "come on the internet once in a while" :/

DUDE. You disappeared from FB. I was going to tell you directly ... are you on Twitter? Hit the Zaphod Zombie link on the top of the site -- the book is perpetually free on all the stores. If something isn't working for you, let me know and I can send you a generic epub or PDF.
