You know, on the whole, I have to say that this was a pretty good weekend.  I came up about one video short of what I was planning and certainly fell short of the Talking Heads quota (I'm still short on some footage, which is actually a good thing because I've only cut the cold open).

But other than that, it was good weekend.

Which is really odd, considering the bad mojo that kicked the weekend off.  But I like to read into things and assume the worse.

First, for those of you who completely missed the boat on the title of the last post (which was no doubt all of you) ... it's a Sports Night reference.  It comes from the episode of the same name wherein the Three Dog Night song is misinterpreted as an omen of bad things to come.  Still in the dark?  Go buy it on DVD.  It's one of the best television shows ever and it's well worth the price of admission.

So aside from failing the regular weekly schedule for Talking Heads, I have two remaining episodes of the Beanie Boy Show left to post (which will be coming Monday and Tuesday), but the big news was The Narrator short.  Now, well after the production is done and over with, I find myself remembering some of the shots I had in my head when I initially came up with the concept ... shots that never made it to the actual video.

I guess that's what second episodes are for, huh?

minus Amy Poehler!

But that's okay, Seth Meyers can carry it! (I don't pay that close attention--did he get a replacement co-host?)

How, what do you think about the Kindle 2, Amazon.com new wireless reading device?

I've barely had a chance to read about it this morning ... but it certainly looks better than the first one.

HOWEVER:
- still WAY over priced
- awkward looking/awkward white color
- personally, I don't have much need for ebooks.
- are they still charging for otherwise free web content (blogs, etc?)

yeah, i understand the price issue, bit spendy, but look at the people that buy them. money isnt an issue. totally a white collar toy.

and the blogs and such, are sorta just that, convient, yeah sure you can have them for free on the net, everything all in a (flaw designed) white shell...but there's already a million cocksuckers out there that have made skins for this thing, like any mobile device nowadays

also, its does have internet, which i some months ago, cause uh dah! i work at amazon. checked and updated my facebook, myspace and (website i post videos on, undisclosed*) messages...that's an easter egg though, like the fact that it has Google maps, and GPS built in to it as well, BUT they don't advertise for that cause of course it not made for that, if you focus on the wireless aspect of it, you would then just lose focus of what it is actually, a book reader and just that. have you seen one, the print on it is pretty amazing. course if you want all that GPS, WiFi, (even mindsweep*) just use your laptop!

wow, i took that way too far...!!

oi, and its an MP3 player as well, with enhanced speakers now dual...

well krumbine...lets let this discussion roll on out, im about to head to wrk right now after a shower and 45 minute buss ride reading something on my Kindle 2. haha...for free!!

im off to SUCK TODAY'S DICK

talk to you later mister K, ill be back to check for a response, or comment or something, im not a writer so forgive me fr any typos or horrible grammar

You think you have had a long weekend, I'm exporting a montage of my weekend and insomnia. I think I maxed out at 7 hours of sleep between 11am Friday and 2am Sunday. You'll see.

Oh, and there is no way I will every be able to write for you. You are way to complex of a character for me to pretend that I could make up things that you would say. I would most likely reduce you to a large, nervous, flailing, easily excited, overdeveloped eyebrow. And in all honesty, that kinda seems like an insult to who you really are. Does that make your list of nicknames?
