Late last year I started writing a script for a television series called "Web Heads" (it was a tentative title--I still don't care for it much, but it does fit).  I don't quite remember if I was writing it exclusively for a contest or if I had started writing it before I found out about the FOX contest.  Either way, I ended up hitting the wall in the second act of the script and couldn't finish it in time.  (I did submit the pilot episode of FILM SCHOOL REJECTS, although it didn't go anywhere.)

Even now, however, that first act of the first episode of Web Heads is really fucking good.  It's about a rag-tag group of video-makers who got start-up funding from a wealthy benefactor.  The story opens right as their success is beginning to peak--also right when rumors about their financing getting pulled starts running rampant.

What's amazing is that not only does this script represent an eventual show I dearly hope to be part of one day, but the reality I crafted within the script is a reality I'm slowly working towards, myself.

So, the question is, do you want to be my benefactor?  I've got a whole list of pretty kick-ass and innovative projects that are ripe for productions.  And even if you don't have millions (okay, or thousands) to funnel into a start-up internet production company, the least you can do is buy a book or a T-shirt ;)
