It's officially been one month since I had to delete my old account and start fresh in my new home at youtube.com/krumbine.  I won't go into the details of why I had to close my old account--that's a story for another time--but I will take a moment to thank everyone who's been so supportive.

Anybody who is even remotely familiar with the youtube game, knows how important your subscribers are.  Without subscribers, you're just a wandering soul, uploading videos for no one to see.

In the two-some years of my old account, I worked slowly and tediously to a ballpark of 130 subscribers.  A small number, compared to the thousands upon thousands of true youtube celebrities, but a respectable number for a nobody, hell-bent on producing an internet show (or three).

I try to not get too obsessed with the numbers ... as Emily is quick to remind me, it's quality, not quantity, when it comes to subscribers.  Starting fresh on the krumbine channel proved that.  While I lost virtually all of my subs (I was unable to advertise the new channel on the old one ... that would have been a violation of the conditions) every single new subscriber I found through the krumbine channel was a fresh, new, dedicated face, eager to be involved with what was happening in my corner of the internet.

In a single month, I've discovered 73 of these people.  And I have no doubt that with the help of each and every one of you, next month we'll find 73 more.

Thanks.
