One of three national writing contests I'm entered in have gone bust. Which is probably a good thing seeing as that I've been preparing the script that I entered into the contest for production on YouTube. Had it actually won the contest, there would've been a bit of conflict of interest there.
(Secretly though, I spent last night bawling my eyes out over this profound rejection.)
But it's like I said yesterday: you have to make your own opportunities. That's why I'm moving forward with the new YouTube collaborative show "Film School Rejects"; that's why you're going to be seeing yet another version of Explorers of the Unknown (the final, end-all version--well, the final one until we do the animated film); and that's why you're going to see me quote a Disney film right now:
Keep moving forward.
Rock and roll, bitches. It's time to make things interesting.
