Hi, my name is Jordan Krumbine (that's me in the picture).  I write and produce creative material with a current emphasis on videos and comics.  To deliver this content to my viewing public, I have a website based on the Weebly platform.

I truly do love Weebly.  If you've never checked it out before, it is a drag-and-drop simple website design and management platform.  Unfortunately, as much as I love Weebly (and I really do) it does have its shortcomings that usually drive me absolutely crazy.

Like, for example, automatically resizing images to no larger than 700 pixels wide.  Or something like that.  As a result, the images you see for all the comics I post are a great deal lower in quality from what I actually have to share.

Of course, I try very hard not to dwell on limitations of a platform.  Instead, I follow my creed ("stay creative") and try to come up with an inventive solution.  In this case, you'll see the solution to the right.

Is it me or is everyone taking a summer break?

... yeah, it's probably just me.

As you've probably noticed, the comment contest received quite a bit of attention and I desperately need to tighten up the process some.  I promised results on Friday, but the truth is that the decision hasn't been made yet.  I'm going to try and post a video soon and to tide you over, I'll let you know that comments were so epic, I can't name just one winner.  Which means there will be multiple winners.  You know, at least two.

In other news, this past Thursday was my grandfather's funeral which was a thoroughly horrible experience ... but a thoroughly fitting ending for a man who turned his back on everyone who had any kind of significance and importance in his life.  I've been traveling back and forth to Sebring, Florida for several weeks now and the last trip was utterly draining.

For a change of pace, I didn't leave the house this weekend and barely even left my computer room.  Saturday I made the new Zaphod comic, but felt the need to not stop there.  On Sunday, I put the finishing touches on the third Zaphod Zombie comic produced this weekend.

Not too shabby.

Especially when you factor in the design of two Zaphod Zombie posters.  These weren't explicitly for selling (but I'm happy to offer them) but instead as entries to a local art competition.  Last year, I entered a sculpture made of computer keyboard keycaps, aptly titled "Writer's Block".

I think my Zaphod Zombie posters definitely fall into the same vein of thought: make the audience scratch their heads and say "Huh?".
